Cupcake Baking and Decorating
There are 4 components to this class:
Practical Cooking Component
Students learn the art of making a cupcake batter to make soft and moist cupcakes
Making Icing and Cupcake Designs
The presenter demonstrates how to make icing and the different techniques used to make 3 cupcake designs.
How to roll fondant and use a biscuit cutter correctly
Students learn how to roll out fondant and use a biscuit cutter correctly to make clean cuts
Interactive Nutritional Education
Students are given the opportunity to taste some of the most popular ingredients used in cupcake making and decorating ie. fondant, icing sugar, chocolate buds, sprinkles, sour lollies, marshmallow, vanilla essence/extract.
Held at The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living, 1 Mount Annan Drive, Mount Annan. Parking is available on site.
